Hi, kids! We are lucky! On Wednesday 7th, we will see a play in English. Its title is "Mirabell and the Elf Rumpelstiltskin". Unipopidiomas will perform this story about a girl who works as a cleaning lady in a castle and one day receives the visit from a little Elf with magic powers and a very difficult name "Rumpelstiltskin". Can you say this weird name? Say it again and again, faster and faster! I hope this slideshow prepares you for the play.

Estimados padres de alumnos,  aquí tenéis un guía de cómo acceder a la página Oxford Online Learning Zone, una gran web para repasar el vocabulario, canciones e historias trabajadas en clase con nuestro método Big Surprise.

• En primer lugar acceded al enlace: http://primary.oolz.oupe.es/ 
• También podéis  entrar a través de la ventana expuesta en este blog en el margen superior derecho.

•  Como indica la flecha  pulsad en “Regístrate en Oxford Plus”. Se abrirá una ventana con un “Formulario de Registro” donde tendréis que poner vuestros datos. Una vez que consigáis entrar, os aparecerá esta pantalla:

• En la casilla “Activar Licencia” escribid la licencia válida para este curso escolar, 2018/19: OUPIO40STCOSQ    y pulsad Activar.  Y ya conseguiréis llegar a la ventana de bienvenida:

• Escogéis el libro  “Big Surprise” y dentro de Big Surprise, el nivel correspondiente. Una vez dentro podéis empezar a navegar por los distintos apartados, siempre siguiendo el orden de las unidades que se han trabajado en clase.

Espero que disfrutéis con la página. Es un gran instrumento de refuerzo de nuestras clases.

Every June 5th,   World Environment Day is celebrated all over the world. It is a similar celebration to Earth Day which is held every April 22nd. Most of the activities for Earth Day in this blog are suitable for World Environment Day too.  And I want to commemorate this special date with an online game and a video. The game is really a test about some of our habits and how they are connected to the protection of our planet. The video teaches the children going green in order to save the planet.
