Instead of Father and Mother we can use more loving words: Mother Mum, Mummy (BrE),  Mom, Mommy (AmE); Father, Dad, Daddy.  We can also say: Mama and Papa (especially in AmE)

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE GREEN? picture book

Every June 5th is a day used by the United Nations to stimulate  awareness of protecting our planet.  It is called World Environment Day and it began in 1972.    It is a similar celebration to Earth Day which is held every April 22nd. Most of the activities for Earth Day in this blog are suitable for World Environment Day too.       And I´ve found a nice storybook four young kids about protecting our planet.            I hope you enjoy it.
