Hello, kids! Welcome back to school! I hope you enjoy the new school year and learn lots of new things with Bobby, Tim, Tina and the Twinkles. 
This school year I´ll be working in the 2nd cycle only. but I´ll be in touch with you through this blog and through my other blog ENGLISH IS FUN 2.

ENGLISH SONGS. Young learners.

This is my little present for the 2nd grade kids who will go up to a new cycle. Just 5 years ago we started our english lessons with Cookie, the cat, and his songs. It was my first year in this school and it was a pleasure to work with you during 5 years. I´m very proud of you and I hope you enjoy your future lessons.

AT THE DOCTOR. Year 2

As every year in our school, all the students and teachers from the 2nd cycle have participated in the traditional "chiricuentos" to conmemorate the Day of the Book. Nine stories have been performed, seven in the spanish language, one in French and other in English. This is the english story Paula and Luis (from 2A)have performed. The tittle is "At the doctor".

ST PATRICK´S DAY INFORMATION

Saint Patrick´s day is celebrated each year on March 17th, in honour of St Patrick, the Saint Patron of Ireland . People usually wear something green. HANSEL AND GRETEL

On 16 February we are going to the theatre with Forum Theatre and Education. We are going to see the play "Hansel and Gretel" , a new version of the classic fairy tale. In the play, Gretel, the girl is brave and confident, but Hansel , the boy, is fearful. There isn´t a cruel stepmother, but there is a kind and loving mum. The villain of the story is the nasty witch , who captures the children and wants to eat them. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE PLAY.
